Cowboys 20, Giants 15

The Dallas Cowboys are back in the win column, courtesy of the New York Giants. In an injury-filled “Thursday Night Football” game, the Cowboys held on for a 20-15 win against their NFC East rivals.

It is starting quarterback Dak Prescott’s 13th straight win over New York. The Dallas defense was the difference-maker. After back-to-back rough outings against the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens, the unit locked down the Giants run game, allowing 26 yards on the ground, and forced quarterback Daniel Jones to air it out if he wanted to win.

Giants rookie Malik Nabers was up to the task, with 12 receptions for 115 yards, but few others were. Jones completed 29 of 40 passes for 281 yards. Prescott, meanwhile, went 22-for-27 for 221 yards and two touchdowns, while CeeDee Lamb had 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Unfortunately, both teams were bit by the injury bug. Cowboys defensive standouts Micah Parsons, Trevon Diggs and DeMarcus Lawrence all left the game at different points with injuries, while Nabers was ruled out in the fourth quarter with a concussion.

According to an announcement made by the WWE Hall of Famer, he will be the third man in the ring when Joe Giudice and Antonio Sabato Jr. box on December 7th.

Giudice became famous on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” while Sabato Jr. was a model for Calvin Klein in the 90s before getting a role as Jagger Cates on “General Hospital” that same decade. This is the latest fight in the world of celebrities stepping into the ring.

“Hey, this is Kurt Angle, I just signed on with Official Celebrity Boxing to referee in The Battle of the Italian TV Stars, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Joe Giudice in the Bahamas December 7,” Angle said.
