  • Giants Win Second In A Row With 34-17 Win Over Cowboys

The New York Giants closed their 2025 season with a 34-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 18 at MetLife Stadium, finishing at 4-13 with back-to-back wins.

Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart impressed in his finale, going 22-of-32 for 230 yards and two touchdowns, including a highlight-reel 29-yard backhanded flip to tight end Daniel Bellinger and a 13-yard score to running back Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Tracy rushed for 103 yards, while Devin Singletary added a six-yard touchdown. Kicker Ben Sauls hit four field goals, and linebacker Bobby Okereke’s interception set up a score.

The Cowboys, resting starters in the second half, scored via Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah but couldn’t keep pace.

The late wins, however, hurt the Giants’ draft position, dropping them lower in the top five after holding the projected Number one pick just two weeks ago.

  • Jets Crushed By Bills to Finish Awful Season

The Jets don’t play again until September. And that’s good news for everyone, except their opponents, after the Jets lost 35-8 to the Bills on Sunday.

They secured the No. 2 overall pick in the draft. And by trading away two of their best defensive players, they now have four picks in the first two rounds of the next two NFL Drafts, and a ton of cap space to make their team better.

But they still have a history of losing that they must overcome.

Their first year under coach Aaron Glenn was supposed to represent a new page, with a roster with plenty of talent and a lot of questions.

Instead, the former Jets star helped this franchise reprint a story it team knows all too well: one of the worst seasons in franchise history.

  • Politics in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Future?

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has once again addressed the possibility of a future presidential run, offering a brief but open-ended comment on the long-running speculation.

The actor and entrepreneur made the remarks during an episode of Variety’s “Awards Circuit” podcast.

The primary focus of the interview was Johnson’s upcoming film work, but the conversation also touched on the recurring question of his political aspirations. When asked if a “Rock for president” campaign was still a possibility, Johnson acknowledged the persistent nature of the topic.

“It’s wild, man,” Johnson said on the podcast. “I’m always honored that people ask that. I love what I do. I love storytelling. But yeah… we’ll see.”

  • Giants Beat Raiders 34-10, Break Losing Streak

The New York Giants on Sunday ruined their opportunity to guarantee getting the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft by defeating the Las Vegas Raiders, 34-10.

The No. 1 pick now belongs to the 2-14 Raiders, with the Giants holding the No. 2 overall pick. The Giants can still get the No. 1 pick if they lose to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 18 and the Raiders defeat the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 3-13 Giants broke a nine-game 2025 losing streak and a 13-game road losing streak dating back to the 2024 season.

The Giants, who have blown several double-digit leads this season, took a 20-3 lead midway through the third quarter and cruised from there. The victory was the first in six games for interim head coach Mike Kafka, and the first of his career as a head coach.

The victory also meant the Giants avoided the possibility of their first two-win season since 1974, when the NFL season was just 14 games. The Giants will finish their season at MetLife Stadium against the 7-8-1 Dallas Cowboys, who will be trying to avoid a losing season.

  • New England Patriots Rout New York Jets 42-10

The New England Patriots were dominant throughout its matchup with the New York Jets, and brought themselves just one more win away from wrapping up the division with a 42-10 victory at MetLife Stadium.

The Patriots were always going to win this game, and the majority of people thought they’d do it handedly, but could anyone have expected something this uneven?

New England entered the locker room at halftime leading in just about everything over New York: total yards (344-77), first downs (23-3), turnovers forced (1-0), time of possession (20:17-9:43) and points (35-3), and things didn’t improve very much coming out of the break.

The Jets ran back-to-back fake punts on their first possession of the second half, with the second failing miserably and the game was lopsided until the end.

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye set a career high throwing five passing touchdowns against the New York Jets in a nearly perfect performance.

  • Christmas Lighting All Over Town

Dyker Heights is once again the epicenter of electrifying Christmas magic — enough to knock your stockings off!

Every holiday season, just after Thanksgiving, the Brooklyn neighborhood — which stretches from 11th to 13th avenues and from 83rd Street to 86th Street — is transformed into a winter wonderland.

Throngs of all ages flock to the nabe like wise men to Bethlehem to gaze at life-sized Santas, sleds and snowmen — as well as aliens in sports cars; humongous toy soldiers; and mountainous milk and cookies left for Father Christmas.

Subtlety is sidelined. From lawns to rooftops, every inch of property is covered with illuminated choirboys, angels, wreaths and snowflakes.

  • New Orleans Saints Defeat New York Jets 29-6

The New Orleans Saints (5-10), behind five field goals by Charlie Smyth, defeated the New York Jets (3-12) 29-6 at Caesars Superdome.

New Orleans won its third consecutive game while the Jets lost their third in a row and fourth out of their last five games.

Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough carved up the Jets defense finishing 32 for 49 with 308 yards and a touchdown pass.

Sunday marked Chris Harris‘ first game as Jets interim defensive coordinator. Following Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence scoring six touchdowns last week, the Jets defense couldn’t get much worse.

In the second start of his career, Jets QB Brady Cook failed to show much growth from last week’s game. Cook was sacked eight times due to his lack of pocket presence.

The Jets rushing attack struggled to get going. Breece Hall finished with 54 rushing yards on the ground and the Jets averaged just 3.2 yards rushing.

The Jets will play their final game at MetLife Stadium this season next weekend when they host the New England Patriots.

  • Giants Continue Losing Ways, Fall to Vikings

In one of the ugliest games of the 2025 NFL season, the (7-8) Minnesota Vikings defeated the (2-13) New York Giants 16-13. The loss was New York’s ninth straight and enhanced their chances of getting the number one overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The two teams had a combined 22 accepted penalties, and the lone offensive touchdown scored all afternoon was a J.J. McCarthy 12-yard run in the second quarter.

To put in perspective how bad this season has been for the Giants, they’ve fired more coaches this year (Brian Daboll, Shane Bowen, and Brian Cox) than they have wins.

The offense was disastrous on Sunday as they were only able to muster 141 yards. But they still could have come away with a victory if Abdul Carter hadn’t lined up offside on a Jevon Holland 96-yard interception return for a touchdown. But as they say, bad teams will find ways to lose.

  • Jaguars Overwhelm Jets in 48-20 Rout

The Jets (3-11) struggled to contain QB Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars (10-4) in a 48-20 loss at EverBank Stadium on Sunday. The Jaguars capitalized on several short field opportunities as Lawrence threw for 330 yards and 5 TDs.

“Very disappointing on a number of levels,” Head Coach Aaron Glenn said of the game.

“When you give up that many points, that’s tough. It doesn’t allow our QB to actually get in the groove. It doesn’t allow our offense to get in the groove. … Our offense didn’t play up to par, either. So, there were issues across the board.”

  • Washington Commanders Beat the New York Giants 29-21

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Jacory Croskey-Merritt ran for a touchdown, fellow rookie Jaylin Lane returned a punt 63 yards to the end zone and the Washington Commanders ended their season-derailing skid at eight games by beating the similarly woeful New York Giants 29-21 on Sunday.

The only NFL game this week with no playoff implications has a far bigger bearing on draft positioning. The Giants (2-12) lost their eighth in a row, moving a step closer to the top pick, a last-place finish in the NFC East and potentially front-office changes, with a coaching search already coming.

Jayden Daniels’ didn’t play Sunday after aggravating a left elbow injury, so it was Marcus Mariota who quarterbacked the Commanders to their first victory since Oct. 5.

Mariota connected with top receiver Terry McLaurin on a 51-yard catch-and-run TD early in the fourth quarter. That was one of only 10 passes Mariota completed on 19 attempts for 211 yards, with a fumble.

Giants QB Jaxson Dart had TD passes to Tyrone Tracy and Wan’Dale Robinson but also threw a costly interception and was incomplete on a fourth-and-goal attempt with 10 minutes left.

Tracy ran for the Giants’ first touchdown after falling behind 13-0, and his TD catch happened when they were down 22-7.
